High-Performance Planner Part 2

Hi, everybody, Cheryl Knowlton, coming at you with part 2 about the High-performance Planner that I absolutely love so much.  It has been such a foundational tool for me in my life and in my business.  I’m just so excited to share it with you.  I know what a powerful tool this is.

I showed you how the planner is laid out and designed and how you use it on a daily basis.  The piece that I didn’t tell you about was the whole life assessment and the high-performance assessment.  The thing I love about this, especially with the whole life assessment—that is what we are going to focus on in this segment.  We are going to go through each of ten different area of your life.

Can we really have balance?

We talk about balance in real estate.  Can you really have balance?  I wrote a whole book about that topic. Can we really have balance in life.  Not necessarily in real estate or in any business we are in.  It’s a matter of focus, energy and attention.  It’s having systems, tools, habits, and strategies to help us manage distractions and chaos.

One of he very important ways we can do that is assessing where we are.  We can’t figure out how to get from where we are to where we want to be unless we figure out where we are.  This is especially true if we are going on a road trip.

Let’s say I want to go to Orlando, which I desperately want to do right now.  If I were to get in the care and drive there, I need to figure out where I am at before even the best app can get me from where I am to where I want to be.

The categories that Brendon Burchard has identified that we need to make sure that we strategically hit all of in our lives are as follows:

  • Health
  • Mental and emotional
  • Partner/love
  • Family
  • Friends
  • Mission
  • Experiences
  • Spirit/Spirituality
  • Finances
  • Learning

You give yourself a score from 1 to 10 on how you feel you are doing in that area.  I can tell you that I did pretty well except for finances, which is why I delegate the vast majority of all things financial.  This includes tracking my expenses to paying bills by my amazing accountant.  That is a topic for another day on delegation.

Where do you need to focus your attention?

This is a great whole life assessment for you—to figure out where you’re at and what needs the most focus and attention for you.

That being said.  I, strategically, came up with what I call MY top 10 for 2019. You can do this for any year.  So no matter when you see this I will be doing this every January or the rest of my life—coming up with one goal in each of those 10 areas that I just outlined.  I make certain that I hit all the key areas of my life, so that I can strategically move forward with some semblance of, if not balance, a strategic plan to make all areas of my life successful. I want all areas of your life to be successful as well.

Again, highperformanceplanner.com or you can order them on Amazon.  They are like $14.95 a piece or you can order the whole year—absolutely, most phenomenal toll for the least amount of money I have ever found.  Use it in good health!
