What is your brand and what does it say about you when you are not there?

Hi, everybody. Cheryl Knowlton, CEO of Dynamite Productions, coming at you with your Dynamite Tip of the Day.

Think about who you are and who your brand is. As a real estate professional, too often, we rely on the branding of our company, of our franchise, of the greater company at large if it is an international brand. What is your brand? What your brand actually is, is what people say about you when you are not present.

Do you have a consistent problem of not being on time, or are you known for your impeccable word? Think about those little dynamics, the things that make up a brand experience, both brands that you’ve had great experiences with… For me, of course, that is always Disney because I always have a great experience with Disney. Think about the experiences that you’ve had where you didn’t have such a great experience. For me, that would be Frontier Airlines. We’ll talk about that one another time.

As you work very carefully to put together your brand… When we think about brands like McDonald’s who have branded themselves consistently worldwide, even if you don’t like their food, you know what you’re getting. You’re going to have a consistent experience. Are you delivering a consistently fabulous experience when your buyers and your sellers experience you? Just something to think about for your Dynamite Tip of the Day.
