Start your new year off right.

Hi, Everybody, Cheryl Knowlton comin’ at ya! Here we are at the start of a brand-new year.  One of the things that I absolutely love about running races…

I love the energy of race day

I’m about to do my 13th half-marathon, and if you know me well enough you know that I’m really not a runner.  But I love, love, love race day. I love the energy of racy day.   I also, run for medals and hash browns, but that is a discussion for another day.

Let’s talk about the energy at the beginning of a race.  Here we are at the starting line.  It’s freezing.  But there’s so much energy as we’re all about to start something really exciting and new and fun together.

That’s the way I feel about how everybody is at the beginning of a new year.  Unfortunately, though, statistically, most people who set new year’s resolutions—80 percent, according to Business Insider Magazine, say that new year’s resolutions are gone, forgotten and by the wayside by Valentine’s Day, February 14th.  Those of you who forgot the date—don’t forget that date, especially if you have a significant other.

That is really, really sad that all of those resolutions are by the wayside.  We’ve got to do something different.  I have found that in talking to other major, major players in the real estate space, CEO s of major corporations—we all agree that one of the biggest fundamental pieces that is missing in real estate is accountability.

Agents need accountability

Agents need to have someone whom they are accountable, besides their significant other or best friend.  You need somebody that you can talk to, bounce ideas off of, and get suggestions and ideas for how you can do things better.

In a previous segment I have talked about my coach, my amazing and incredible coach, Darryl Davis as well as some of the other coaches I have had in the past.  They have absolutely been there at the crossroads of significant pieces of my career.  They have helped me go off in a totally different trajectory than I thought I needed to go on.  They have changed everything for me.

If you feel like you need a coach, that now is the time, that this is the year—you don’t want to be one of those statistics and by Valentine’s Day you want to be rocket-started from where you are today.  I would love to talk to you about seeing if we might be a good fit for each other, for me being your coach.

I have openings for five individuals, right now, that I am willing to take on.  You might be one of them.  So, if you are interested, call, text, email, send a Facebook message me.  Somehow let’s set aside some time for a 30 minute, no obligation chat to see if that might be a good fit for you.

Until then, have a awesome day!
